So. How was your Thanksgiving?

I couldn't believe how much people changed. I haven't seen my cousins in years. Some of them have aged considerably. My young cousins (the girls) were hot. I tried not to stare. I got to spend a little time with my 88 year old grandmother and I took her to her room and reminesced a little with her. I was fighting back tears because I know she won't live much longer. I think she knew. It was a special moment.

story of my life, shittttttttttttssssssss the thanksgiving spirit

Third day of having a fever, the worse headache ever, woke up in a pool of sweat and said enough is enough. I finally gave in and took some cold medicine to relieve the flu symptoms.

Had to postpone my dinner until tomorrow.

mine was great. i have 6 brothers and sisters who live all over the place. this is the only time of year we can all get together at once. i know my mom and dad love it.

I am glad to see that everyone had a great day. Mine was great too. Saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen in years, ate too damn much and watched both football games.

It was ok.....my only complaint was the dinner wasn't as good as I would have liked & the restaurant experience wasn't up to par.....so I guess it was a decent day as I wasn't cold, hungry or homeless....

Mom & dad are visiting - haven't seen them in 6 months. They are on their way down for a closing on their new 'retirement condo' on the ocean. (The good news is I get the spare key and they will only be occupying for the winter months!) We grilled a turkey on my gas grill, cooked up some sweet potatos, made a salad, cracked a bottle of shiraz & watched "The Incredibles"! (Nothing like G-rated movies when mom & dad are around...even at my age...) This morning we hit the new Georgia Aquarium - it was very nice! Apparently it is the largest aquarium in the world. 5 beluga whales, a couple whale sharks, seals, sea lions, otters, penguins, a crap load of fish & all sorts of stuff!

We got through the entire day without any smartass bickering shutthefuckup you get on my nerves comments. When my family gets together and noone storms out pissed it was a very very good day. =)

Remember we are good friends right?

That is awesome. We are trying to get that Aquarium to take two baby orphan sea lions in. I've been their surrogate mom since July and they can't be released. They are so fun. We are very picky about who gets our nonreleasable animals and they are on the list.

Mine was el-sucko. I had to drive 80 miles to the little podunk redneck town where my dad moved when he retired, to meet my dad and The Evil Stepmom at the country club for luncheon buffet. The buffet was "eh". Back at their house I pretended to go to sleep on the sofa so that I wouldn't have to interact with anyone.

Thursday AM starting weight = 183lbs
Thrusday PM before bed = 191lbs
Friday 10AM when I woke up = 188lbs

I ate and drank enough for a few people, and I still feel like a beached whale.

It went better than I thought it would. I ate WAY too much, read a lot when I got home, and went to bed really early. :)

Mine was okay. it was quiet. We're not really talking to my moms side of the family right now so it was just my parents, me, and two of our friends from down the street. I put up our x-mas lights since my dad won't get on the roof, and then I watched football and ate, ALOT.
