The papers said that it was just CompUSA.

BestBuy was actually the death knell for them when Dell decided to start selling their computers through BestBuy.

So I plan to buy a lot of discount shit and then make thread after thread on here about how to use it. LOL!! :)

best buy is a public company, very very successful. (ticker: BBY)

CompUSA has been awful ever since the fall of a company that they put out of business themselves, (Computer City) owned by Tandy, (which is now just Radio Shack).

they are still kicking absolute ass though. seriously, what other electronic retail giant has even close to the reputation best buy does now? NONE, because they have put everyone else out of business! Circuit City almost went belly up if hadn't been bailed out by private equity, comp usa is dead, what else is there? wal mart? i mean really! dell? no, they are both in totally separate major businesses, best buy is now THE electronics giant. really, really impressive.

anyway, I am looking forward to cleaning out the CompUSA going out of business sales too!

The only time I go to Bestbuy instead of somewhere comparable online is when I feel like spending more money.
