It talks about how he's hovering in a huey, manning the .50 cal and sees a VC child running guns on a bike. Doesn't wanna kill the kid so from a klik he shoots out the front axel on the bike.

Carlos Hathcock wasn't in a huey when he shot the kid's bike axel. The kid got back up, and picked up the guns that fell from his basket. Hathcock shot the kid after that.

He is credited for shooting a VC sniper in the eye. Saw the sun reflect off of the scope and took a chance.
