I am recently recovering from 2 broken tibias (each leg was broken) and I am currently structurally sound and completely healed. I am lifting again and trying to strengthen my lower body ect. I notice however that when I make any sudden movements or try to kick it into another gear and run harder/faster that I will feel a tweak or slightly pull my right calf muscle. It isn't anything serious as it will return to normal in about 10 seconds, but I was just wondering if this "pull" could be attributed to the tightness of my calf (meaning I would have to stretch more) or whether it was a strength issue and I need to strengthen my calf instead.
I wasn't sure because I was obviously tight due to my injury but also weak muscle wise. I also wasn't sure if strengthening my muscles would also add to any existing muscle tightness that I would already have.
Thanks a ton!
