slow pitch softballers... pitchers?

i'm stuck pitchign this year and though we won the league i dont like it at all... i have a quick glove but i got whacked on the shin sunday... it egged up instantly...

well, the fuckers started aiming at me and i tried to keep my cool and did for the most part... but i told the team if its intentional then they gotta expect paybacks... i threw at the guy running to first after one i fielded, i missed him but it got their attention.

I pitch a little. Our main pitcher is a hispanic guy about 55 years old or so--he threw a no-hitter years ago before they had a limit on how high you can throw it. They said the ball is on display somwhere as one of only two no-hitters in Ft Worth city league history???

it sucks when you cant find your rithm and the ump wont call strikes. and some of dem bastards like to taunt you too!

it was fucking hysterical AFTER the game... seriously, i asked there catcher (right before i flew out) if it was intentional... he said "i dont know, i dont play with these guys often"...

catcher comes up and hits right at me and laughs... "ump told me to test your glove".... right there i was pissed...

next guy right back to the fucking mound!!!! i grabbed the ball on a hop and it was a pretty quick hit so i had time to think.. i ignored the guy going to 2nd and let loose towards the guy running.... that fuckin ball zoomed right by his left leg and hit the fence... my firstbasemen started laughing... if that fucker even looked at me wrong he was getting beat silly.

I've never tried to hit a pitcher, but if they throw me a ball on the outside part of the plate, its coming right back at them. I cracked a guys shin last year, I saw him a couple weeks later pitching with cathers gear on. Lmao.

Unfortunately softball is becoming unsatisfying. When I get my arms extended the ball will pretty much fly out of any park. The problem is, people are expecting me to do that every at bat, and when I do get a hold of one, nobody cares too much (not even me anymore).

probably gonna take a year off after the summer.

you guys get unlimited homeruns? we play in no homer tourneys and some have a designated homer guy (anyone else goes deep its an out), but our league only allows 2 per game per team.

yea we got a 3 home run limit, I've played in no homerun tourneys, I hate them.

I play second base, one game, there was this clown that would never get down, or out of the base line when turning a double play....

After the game I spoke with him, letting him know, not only is it a courtesy, but safe to step out of the base path, or at least duck....

The next week, his team played before us, toward the end of the game, he did the same thing, the other teams short stop blasted the guy right between the eyes...went down like a dish rag...

If I rip one up the middle...I try to go left or right of the mound, sometimes it doesn't work that way, but never intentional.....

My school of thought on guys going up the middle is this:

If there is a HR limit and the team is out of theres and the guy is trying to go the other way and fucks up and hits one back at the pitcher then its OK. Anytime I hit one up the middle when I am trying to split the gap in CF or go to the right side I will tell the pitch sorry or my bad. If I do it twice then I can expect my pitcher to get drilled.

If guys go up the middle often and you know they are gunning for a pitcher then it is payback time.

Right now with everyone swinging double wall, triple wall, and composite bats the balls are flying off of these things.

That's funny. The teams I play on now rarely even come out of the dugout to high five/fist to anybody that hits HR's on a regular basis. The only time we do is if a guy that never hits one gets one out.

Our 2nd baseman, who hadn't hit an HR in probably 4 seasons, took a swing with the new Miken Ultra Max Load bat 2 weeks ago and hit it about 340'. I used it for 1 swing and hit one at least 400+. These new bats are making everyone HR hitters.

Funny thing is some of these dumbfucks are using the Ultra playing in D league tourneys where you can't hit any HR's anyway. What's the use?????

Our Tuesday night league we are unlimited HR's, they call it the Power League A++, the most we have hit is 16 but the Miken team hit 24 one game. It was a freaking joke.

If softball is unsatisfying to you why not go to baseball?

So if a guy is hitting seeds up the middle at our pitcher.... I will intentionally throw the ball at the guy running to second...

I generally only do this if the other team is chirping or if they are way up and keep on tryingto go up the middle.

It is a 6 homerun limit league with 310 foot fences, generally both teams will use all of their homeruns so it is a pretty competitive league.. Not church league type stuff..

Also, anyone who is playing softball.. GET THE NEW MIKEN ULTRA BAT!!

I was hitting 400+ foot bombs with that fucker...

Well, I played NCAA baseball my freshmen year, it was fun but I thought is sucked that I was waking up at 7am on a Saturday to go run while most of my friends were just going to sleep. I didn't start either, and I would of had to stick it out for 2 years before I had a chance to start. So I basically said fuck it.

Then I started playing softball, I couldn't get the ball out at first, then when I did, it was an awesome feeling. But now I can pretty much do it every other at bat and there is no thrill anymore (unless it is a monster shot over the lights or something).

I'm graduating in a month so my NCAA eligibility will be gone, I might one day consider trying out for a AA squad just to see if I can even compete. Probably not but you never know if you don't try.

As for the new Miken, I've heard crazy stories about that bat. Never taken a swing with it but have seen guys who have.

--I played an open tournament earlier this summer, unlimited homeruns, it was a 285 field and the wind was blowing out. It was so pointless, 120lb guys were hitting pop-ups for homeruns and walking out of the box like they were bonds. It was stupid.
