Slight swelling on left side of abdomen

I have a slight sswelling on left side of abs just below the bottom of rib cage. It doesnt hurt when I touch it but it is slightly swollen. Any ideas what this might be?

dude not to scare you or anything but you might want to go to the doc and have that checked...abdominal aneurysm's can start out like that, this is a tale tell sign.. probably not but..you need to get it checked just in case, as we all know if those burst they are pretty much fatal.

btw there is realy no reason for one side of your stomach to be swollen but not sore..scary bro..

The swelling isnt tender and I have had it for about 4 months

Thanks for the input and I will get it checked out. BTW the swelling isnt tender to the touch and I have had it for about 4 months. It hasnt changed in size and Its closer to my left oblique than my abs.

You definately need to go to a doc ASAP, that sounds pretty serious. If I'm not mistaken, this can also be a sign of liver problems.
