Sleep?

Sometimes I can't sleep. I don't know why but I just can't. So during this time I go on the computer because what else is there to do at the early hours of the day.

Anyway that's not the point of the thread. Any time I come on this board it seems there are a couple ppl that post no matter what time I come on. I just find it very fucking odd.
 
I worked till 3AM and didn't even attempt to sleep till 5. Woke every twenty minutes then finally said, "Fuck it" and got out of bed around 6:30/7. It is now nearly 10AM. I have to be at work by 7:30 tonite and will not get home till 4/5AM.

I would give my eyeteeth to sleep. But I just can't. If stress doesn't keep me awake all night, then I am in the bathroom.

My boyfriend is supposed to be sending me a script for some stuff that will knock you out but allows you to wake feeling refreshed and not groggy.

I have not been able to sleep soundly for 10 years....

It isn't that I don't want to. I just can't no matter what.

It just fucking escapes me. I have taken tylenol PM and even percocets. They USED to knock me out and I only take that stuff when absolutely necessary.

The lack of sleep w/my not being able to eat in conjunction w/my insides fucking rebeling is starting to really affect me.

I guess it is kind of like performance anxiety. The more you want it, the more you stress about it, the more it escapes you. :(
 
I sleep pretty much any chance I get. for the most part, if I'm not moving too much at any given point in the day, I will fall asleep.
I don't know what all the neurotransmitters beyond melatonin and seratonin that are responsible for it - but I sure as hell have whatever it takes to fall asleep quickly, soundly, and for a long long time.

my ideal sleep schedule is 12 hours at once. then get up and have something to eat. then after about 3 hours, take another 1-3 hour nap.
that usually is enough there.

I wish I could actually get enough sleep so that I wasn't always tired.
I usually only get 7 hours a night.

when I was on anti-depressants early in college, they weren't working right for a bit and I slept for 3 days straight. I can't believe my roommate never woke me up during that time.

I know that if serotonin is off one way or the other, it fucks up your sleep.
there are all kinds of things that can fuck up your serotonin levels.

I think that was why I finally woke up. I really had to pee. Then I wanted to go back to sleep, but I saw that it had been a few days and I was really confused.
I can't tell you how weird it is to come to find out that literally days have gone by and you were asleep.
Even stranger when your roommate never thought it was weird. (to his credit, he came and went and just thought I was taking a lot of naps - which I did around that time)

also, since I was sleeping, I wasn't eating or drinking, so it wasn't like there was a lot to move through anyway.
