i know how crucial sleep is, but the fact is that ive had sleep issues for a few years now and have been off and on scrips like ambien and lunesta. im trying to come off of them but have just started a deca/test cycle/ bottom line: is sleep as important while on gear than when off? ill go like 4 nigths a week with less than 6 hours of sleep each night. whats your guys opinion? i know gear will offset catabolism somewhat, but by how much??

Yes, just as important, and you can still and do catabolize while sleeping, small dose of protein before bed (slow digesting) will take care of that.

yes it is as important. gear doesn't keep you 100% anabolic 24/7. You will have to eat at the right times and sleep is crutial. You're going to want to get some sleep meds on hand, 6 hours 4 nights a week=not good, you would see night/day differences getting 2 more hours of sleep every night

Bro it is important, if you have sleep issues you should keep your med's with you, rest is importand in every thing we do in life.

i hate it i been eatin like 350-400 gm protein per day but due to lack of sleep its all turning into fat and not muscle...and im doin a cycle!

You probably don't know what you're doing then. Regardless of sleep you shouldn't be gaining fat unless your diet is complete garbage.

sleep is very crucial to recovery and growth.

yeah i been usin melatonin a little to help. its weird though when i take it i have all these real vivid fucked up dreams. if i can remember the dreams this well does this mean my sleeping is shitty? i dont mean to keep asking these gay questions but when ive been on cycles before sleep was never an issue, now it is b/c ive got acute sleep apnea and have trouble for last few years.

sleep is very important. i know for myself 6-8 hours is perfect. if i sleep longer, i wake up feeling groggy and tired. i sometimes use diazepam before bed, helps me sleep and and also blunts cortisol.

I have had chronic insomnia all of my life but since I stared GH I now sleep like a baby every single night. I have been on 2 iu ed for over 2 years now and I take my dose after dinner and my insomnia is now a thing of the past. If Gh did nothing else it would be worth it because it cured my insomnia when nothing else could! :verygood:

Your remembering your dreams well, because of some stimulus from something your taking. Nothing wrong with that unless the dreams are mostly anxiety dreams. Anyway, sounds like a lot of people on here could benefit from (brainwave entrainment software.) Run it through google or elsewhere. Basically, it allows you to meditate and relax by altering your brainwaves through audio.( No- Im not talking about soothing songs) Basically, you can relax as well as a monk who has been meditating for years. I suggest you check it out. Meditation with or without software will in affect help your sleep be very efficient. Relaxation is the key.

People vary in how much sleep they need. Most people need 8 hours of sleep. Some may need less.
If you are fresh after sleep and don't have day time drowsiness, your are probably sleeping enough.
Yes, it is important to have the sleep that you need, especially when on AAS.
If you are not having sufficient sleep, you will not have the right gains.
