Sled on Grass or Asphalt ???

Hey quick question,

Ideally should I drag the sled on concrete or grass?

Is it harmful in any way on grass, or easier on concrete?


What distances and how many times for strength and GPP.

Bigguns15 pulls on the concrete right outside the gym. It's about a 60 yard hike. I'm sure she could give you the exact plan of how she does things.
 
I use both, when I pull in the grass I attach it to a weight belt and I wear cleats, I usually get down in a stance and do balls to the wall sprints with my bodyweight on the sled.....typically 10 and 20 yards

when I drag on concrete I usually do a bunch of variations, side drags, ankle drags, backwards drag, bent over drags, ect.
 
if you do it on the concrete it would have more drag there for it would take more strength to pull it i would do it on the concrete!!
 
If you are just starting to drag a sled I would say take 3 - 4 trips at about 200 feet a trip eventually, work up to a total of 6 trips.
