Skinny Chest

My chest is really skinny.. my shoulders are pretty wide (im 6'1 duh) but my chest is so damn skinny it makes my hips look wide (they definetly arent i have a small waist like 30 or so) like i kinda have a femine torso but not really. Will bench pressing make this better? im 17 and still going through puberty i hit puberty at 14 or so will it probably expand on its own? Thanks.. im also god damn thin.
 
To answer this question..Yes bench press will help...It may grow as you get a little older or it may just be genetics but Bench pressing and other chest movements will help add on some size

I would go heavy on incline, decline, and flat dumbell presses. Dont walk out the gym until you have ripped your chest.
 
I'm not sure what you mean by a thin chest - but doing pull overs while lying on a bench will expand your rib cage. If you mean your not wide you may need a lot of lat work to get the V shape. For thickness do your compound movements - bench press, decline, incline etc. - being you are a lifting rookie. Dips would be good for you also.
