skin problems...nose/arms

All,

i was wondering if anybody out there has had any of these problems with yer skin and if so what was the solution...

On my nose i have large pores...they clear up nicely when I take anti-biotics but its only a temporary fix. I know I cant do anything about the pores themselves cuz it genetic but the fact anti-biotics clear em up leads me to believe id be cool if I could keep em clean and free of debris... any thoughts?

On my upper arms I literally have acne...not little bumps but good old acne. I think this is just bacteria that hopefully medication can kick... any thoughts?

On my forearms I have a perpetual case of ingrown hairs...I use to shave my arms years back and every since then Ive had an ongoing case of ingrown hairs...ive tried to give em a clean shave and start over but it didnt work... any thoughts?

I know acne on your arms is a sign of roids but I have never done em or anything of the sort. I have an appointment with a dermatologist next week but I want some ammo for the appointment...

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hmmm...as far as the pores, you may want to try those deep cleansing creams and cleansers. If your skin is sensitive, stay away of the ones with a lot of alcohol in them. As far as your arms...if you lift often, that's probably normal. I have the same problem. Ingrown hairs, pluck the shit out of those, it will eventually lessen the amount that you get, besides, it will make them stay gone longer!!! Just my .02

i went to the doctor and was diagnosed with "Folliculitis." Its a bacterial infection of the hair follicle. One of the casuses is shaving (aggravates staphylococcus aureus folliculitis). Go figure huh? Also, can be spread through a hot tub which i have been using lately. Im taking oral antibiotic treatment and a topical treatment. I also got a chemical peer and its aready clearing up

btw...I read on the net that plucking the infected hairs is a bad thing.
