Skiing Utah in mid April????

I will be driving through the Salt Lake area in mid April! Anyone know if you can still ski around there in mid April (April 15, say)? Is it GOOD skiing or shitty slush skiing?

It has been the worst year for skiing ever. SO I imagine that by April it will be either not possible or incredibly bad.

We just got some heavy powder last weekend in the mountains. But since nearly half the runs are closed on every resort, I can only expect they're gonna cut losses early this year and stop making snow by end of Feb.

Unless we get some good accumulation between now and then. You never know.

Do you lice in Utah, Code? I am planning a trip down to Capitol Reef and Escalante to do some hiking. Thought it would be cool if I could go skiing on the way back up to Seattle. Maybe not. Well I guess I can always play it by ear when the time comes.
