being a huge part of the rescue mission saving the passengers of the Italian cruise ship The Achille Lauro while it was engulfed in flames. the water looked like a scene from titanic. i got a medal for it. if it were not for me doing unauthorized repairs on our rescue hoist on our helicopter we wouldnt have been able to pull people from the water nor send them supplies to the ones who were picked up by a merchant ship that had no means of feeding or clothing the people after they picked them up as well.

Two come to mind - Striking out 17 batters and hitting a walk off homerun in the same game
-Throwing a complete game 5 hit shutout on a thursday, closing on saturday against top 5 team in legion striking out all 3 batters, then pitching again on sunday throwing 165 pitches in a 3-2 win to get our team to state championship and a berth to regionals - basically it was a tournament to be remembered

I live on the ocean and we have a lake that forms on the other side of my house from an inlet. It's where people store their boats.
Anyhow, one night when I was super drunk, I stole someone's sailboat. The owner pulled the bilge pump and plug. Anyhow, I'm in the middle of the friggen pool and the boat starts to sink. It's like 3 am. So, I jump out and start swimming when a shark swam right by me.
The sharks chase the seals and fish into the inlet and hang during the nighttime until the ocean calms down in the morning and they swim back out.
I mean...JAWS gave me a wet willy and swam off.
Never forget that one evah.
You can see the little sailboats in the upper portion of the screen shot. That's a huge lake/pool that has a man-made inlet direct to the ocean
