Simple solutions to airline security.

WTF????
No curbside check-in, No one past security without boarding pass, car searches???

The terrorists win when we change our way of life in response to their actions,
when will these liberals ever learn?

Since the Arabs have figured out what Tom Clancy told them about 8 years ago, that
airplanes can be used as ICBM's, just address the issue of hijacking. They've known how
to blow up a plane for decades, but I guess they figured it wasn't worth the effort.

Two simple, cheap suggestions:

1. Time lock/bolt cockpits- override only from tower/base (like OnStar).
This effectively makes it impossible to negotiate with terrorists or for them to
control a plane.
Even better yet: built-in or remote control overrides to, say, autopilot the plane to
60,000 feet in event of any significant unscheduled deviation from flight plan or when
tripped, either remotely (again, like OnStar) or locally. This is easy and the technology exists.

2. Flight Marshalls on every flight. El Al uses this as do many European airlines. Need I say more?

Let's gather our suggestions and send them off. Let's eliminate these stupid liberal ideas
by suggesting REALISTIC, inexpensive changes that will not affect our everyday lives the
way terrorists would like to.
