Guys--

I know this is a dietary question, and I've posted it on the diet board as well, but I figured I'd have a better shot for a response here. 3 quick questions:

1. I know a gram of fat has 9 calories and a gram of carbs has 4--is the number for protein 3 or 4?

2. Can anyone direct me to a book/article/website (or post, if you're so inclined and have the time) that a gives a detailed, scientific method for calculating approximate maintanence calorices needs, factoring in excercise, etc.?

3. Can anyone direct me to a book/article/website that has extensive listings of nutrional facts for most foods?

Any help grealy appreciated.
