Sickies at work....

Do you think when people are sick (cold, flu or stomach bug) they should go to work and risk infecting others?

I am taking lots of Ester C and Vit B cause yeah, I am worried about all these viruses going around.
This guy I work with is SO SICk and keeps coming into my office and sneezing and coughing then taking and handing me papers.
I mean ok, some of us need to work when sick, but keep your fluids to yourself.
I think if companies gave more paid sick days, more ppl would stay home when sick

i used to take lots of stuff during cold and flu season. . .i threw it all away. . .airborne works better. . .

echinacia(sp?) at the first sign of a cold seems to work for me.

Do you really think these people WANT to go to work sick? Do you think they want to BE at work at all? I think they don't want to be considered slackers by their boss and come in a little sick. If they took off whenever they felt sick, some people would be out 2 months out of the year.

They "tough it out" so to speak. Of course they'd love to stay home eating chicken soup instead of coming in, but we want to show our committment to our jobs. I work damn hard, lady. Damn hard!

I agree. At my place of work, it's frowned upon to be out sick. Which is so silly.
It's cool to tough it out, I tough it out, but there is an etiquette when you're sick to make sure you don't spread your creepy germs everywhere.
