Shut down by Deca & HCG...no clomid

My unique problem is that I did 2 cycles of Deca and was told that HCG was the same as Clomid so I never took clomid or Nolva following a 10 cycle of HCG (2 weeks after my last deca shot).I was VERY naive and followed the advice of a juicer who I thought knew what he was talking about.......as you can guess I was shut down VERY hard. Very low test level, as well as LH, and FSH.......No libido at all.

Been nearly 3 months since my last HCG shot....Started Tomaxophine Citrate over a month later (too late ?) and have been on it for about 7 weeks. Erections have gotten a little better, but NO SEX DRIVE and feel lethargic and moody.....Will my test return back to normal or does doing HCG w/ no Clomid or Nolva immedietly afterwards permanently shut you down ??


how long should I wait and does Nolvadex (Tomaxo ) further supress libido ?? Should I possibly run HCG or possibly even Test again ? Need advice since I have an endo appt. in a month and do NOT want to go on TRT or HRT. I'm 31 BTW.

I've also hear that Dostinex (did I spell that right) can help w/ low libido caused by Deca. Is this true ? Is it a temporary fix or does it lower the levels of prolactins permanently ? Does it lower progesterones ?

Nolvadex doesn't suppress libido from my experience. Your PCT was probably done wrong, that's why you didn't recover. Right now, the best suggestion I have is for you to get a blood work done, and see the results. If you have low test levels or bad liver values,etc... then you know where you stand. Anything said now, without the tests, will just be a guess.

I find that clomid will help libido more than nolvadex. Bloodwork is the best bet here.

Always run nolvadex if doing hcg in your pct bro!

get blood work done. see what it says. when i got shut down by deca i had to run a little mini test cycle and make myself recover form that with a very intense PCT protocol. it took time, and didn't fully recover after, but it did eventually, but not too how it was before.

How does running test help recovery ? Wouldn't that just shut you down even more ?

i was shut down from the deca so long that that rather than trying to do another pct protocol, i ran test for 6 weeks at 400mg a week (helped get back what i lost because i lost nearly all gain, and then some from the deca) hoping that would help. i asked a local doctor around here and that was the advice he gave me

as for what that would mean i didn't have bloodwork done before hand (dumb idea), but i didn't feel like the same person after. it wasn't until i ran the cycle after that (not the test cycle, but a cycle i did in the spring of last year which also was the last one i have done) did i feel like i became myself again.

it was just weird because i was only running 200mg of deca a week on that cycle, but i also had tren in it which certianly could have attributed to it as well. after that i kind of because a beleiver in the test with every cycle mentality.

Is it possible to recover if you run HCG w/ no Clomid or Nolva ? I didn't start Tomaxo until over a month after my last HCG shot. About to finish 8 weeks of Tomaxo. Can I recover ?

Hopefully you can recover, but you need to have bloodwork done or you'll never know where you stand.

How does running test help recovery ? Wouldn't that just shut you down even more ?

Deca is especially suppressive because it's progestagenic and it raises prolactin levels. Running just test after the deca is finished allows time for the prolactin to subside.

The safest way to run deca or tren is with dostinex throughout the cycle and PCT.

If I were you I'd redo PCT going all out. Something like this:

Week 1-6 0.5mg dostinex twice weekly
Week 1-6 20mg/day nolvadex
Week 1-3 1,000IU HCG M,W,F
Week 4-6 50mg/day clomid
