Shrugs

I recently changed up my shrug workout to include a reverse type shrug using Dip stand with a weighted belt. Seems to really target the traps for me.

It's hard to get a decent range of motion on shrugs, even with dbs or a bar. If your standing calf machine is anything like the one I use, the pads sit to high on your shoulders to allow for much movement.

I dont' think it's a good alternative. I'd stick to dbs.
db's yup, that's the way to go.
