Shred down and maintain muscle.

I am currently 270lbs, dropped from 300lbs of chunky fat. Lift 3x a week and cardio 3x a week. I am using the HIT training method. I am still not satisfied with my fat loss. I have never tried a cycle and learning everday. Any suggestions on how to burn fat and maintain the muscle I have? I have a clean diet and taking three MRP shakes everyday with 3 wholesome low carb meals. I began with the BFL plan, now I want to get serious......real serious.

The best way I can suggest on burning more fat, while sparing your muscle mass is to do sprinting for your cardio... the HIIT (High intensity interval training) worked wonders for me when I started law school... I lost around 15lbs of fat and I kept my muscle mass relatively the same... I lost the fat (along with a lower carb diet, NO junk food) in 6 weeks... it stayed off until I got back into eating crap again.

HIIT is da shit.

250 - 300 Grms of Protein a day
200 Grms of good fats (Flax, hemp, omega 3's) a day
10 - 2- grms of carbs a day

For 6 straight days.

Day 7 increase carbs to 100 grms.

Eliminate dairy from your diet, Eliminate starches such as rice and potatoes, and limit fruit to the AM.

Now thats a diet you can sink your teeth into!
