Shoulders "Cracking and Snapping"

Past few days I have noticed major cracking and Snapping going on in my shoulder area when I move my arms around. I am on test, tren, anavar and eq. I am also taking 2 pumps of AIFM a day. Am I just to dry and need to drop down to one pump a day of AIFM? Also I DO take all my shots in the delt area. Could this be causing the Cracks and snapping feelings I am getting in that area from the liquid? Each delt gets 2 cc per dose per week.

Any pain? I have some joint problems and it helps me a lot if I do rotator cuff stretches etc before lifting.

When I move the arm every so often I feel that snap and yes it hurts for a sec. I see alot of people doing those rotator cuff stretches where they windmill the arms with a weight. I guess it might be time for me to start doing that also. I know my cuffa are bad becuase they do grind when I move them around alot.

windmills are ok, but try this:

lie down on the floor on your side and put your elbow out straight (where the elbow makes a 45 degree angle). Then take your opposite arm and pull your forearm toward the floor. It also helps to warm up by taking a light light weight in your hand while standing up, tuck your elbow in to your body and then rotate your forearm out and then back in again.

_| |_ <--- sorta like that, sorry for the bad drawing :)

Might suggest seeing your chiro & massage therapist. You might've jacked your shoulders / rotator just enough to move them forward - I actually just got a similar thing fixed yesterday.

I've always had an existing rotator issue but it never really did anythign more than just make my shoulders pop & crack when I did that shoulder rotation move. I do the stretches & stuff but it was a lot worse this last week for some reason - lots more popping & getting little pinches when I'd move my head or shoudlers quickly. Looks like this was the result of a change in my training where I was some motions like a clean & press, standing Arnold presses, etc. --- but more supersetting, lower weights and more aerobic exercise speeds, shorter rest intervals.

Between the massage & the chiro I was able to get rid of the popping noise for the first time literally in years.

Thank you for the ideas, Actually I am planning on seeing my chiro on monday. I would do it now but I have a ride planned up to Bike weekend tomorrow in Palm Springs for bike week and I don't want to put myself out of commision just in case. I will start with the stretching exercises that scacorica explained and then chiro and a massage wchich sounds real nice actually.

I'm a HYUGE fan of massage -- deep tissue massage pretty much is the difference between being incapacitated & just being normal for me.

I have to admit I have NEVER had a deep tissue massage. I always go for the pleasure ones (usually on vacation) Can I ask you somthing. Is it best to go have a deep tissue massage first THEN the chiropractor? or vice-versa?

You might talk to your chiro -- my doc's office has both right there so I got the massage first & told her to focus on my upper back & neck -- that loosened up the muscles and then the chiro pushed some stuff around - I'd go in that order. Generally if you are getting any sort of specific work done at the chiro I'd find a massage therapist too - I probably wouldn't trust a chiro who doesnt' suggest massage as well - think about it - they are shoving your bones back into place but its the muscles that have to hold things there. Often it is aggravated or spasming muscles that will pull your bones & joints into uncomfortable positions - so it is a bone / muscle in combination thing to get it all fixed.
