shoulder workout

hey ...

I used to love doin upright rows for shoulders, but, they pull something in my neck everytime I do them..

i can do everything else.. what would shoulder workout look like without rows!!!!!???
 
i like military presses and front and side shoulder raises
 
Train them twice a week w/ your chest. Do Behind The Neck Push Presses one day and do strict standing military presses the other. Do ALL your shoulder work standing if you can.

lol I just today ran across a quick training tip called:

No Mo' Upright Row

Cleans or variations of, power cleans or clean pulls for instance, are considered the better alternative. Descriptions and vids are found at http://strengthtraining.asimba.com/fitness_info/muscle_group68.html

Another way to go about it would be to use a wide grip bar on the seated cable row pulley and bring it up to just below your neck. I'd also do shrugs sometime to make sure my traps got worked as well.
 
fuck I love my shulders.

I do all kinds of shit

seated and standing millatary press dumb bell and bar bell
side raisis
frunt rasesis dumb bull and barbell and even with cables
shrugs dumb bell and barbell
laterals are allways fun to.

allso over head arm claps just do like 1000 of them it feels good.

It would look pretty damn good. All you need to do is press, brother, and just simply get better and better at it, and your shoulders will take care of themselves.
 
fo'real, get that press up to bw+ for reps and you'll wonder why you bothered with anything else. Plus overhead pressing has some transfer to other upper body pressing while upright rowing, laterals etc have none.

that said, I know some monsters who love and thrive off both those moves (strict 60lb laterals for one of them.. freaky)
