Shoulder routine

whats the best exersize to start off with to maximise sholders.

would u guys start off with lateral raises as oppose to shoulder press??
 
It all depends on what part of your shoulders stand out more than the other. If your medial delts are lagging than I would start off with those.
 
Overhead press, hands down. Clean the weight up, then do reps.
Alternate between dbs and barbell. Standing up i think is more
difficult and their prefferred
 
most advanced bodybuilders will start with heavy lateral raises, i think both are good, i have been doing either military press or dumbell presses first for awhile, so now im just gonna switch things up and try heavy dumbell side raises first, i wont be able to do as much weight in the overhead pressing movements, but i could care less about weight.
 
When i do overheads they are they primary exercises of the day. I would do some other shoulder work but the overhead took precedent
 
i normally do DB shoulder press, and BD lateral raises..and then BB raises for the delts and BD shrugs.....isnt there more i can do...its shoulder night, and i want to really pack it on.i find that my lateral raises could be better tho... i think i might drop some weight, and do more reps
 
military press
DB press
smith machine military press
5 giant set lateral raises in 5lb increments: 10lbs-35lbs and back down. 10 reps for each db.
 
BB press (heavy), DB press (heavy), lateral DB to side (medium), Bent over lateral DB to side (medium), DB raises to the front (lt), then cable lateral raises to side (lt), finish with shrugs (heavy)....?
 
shrugs are great
 
deadlifts def. made my shoulders grow, same with incline barbell press
