Shoulder problem

Ok I have a problem with my right shoulder.

When I do any type of shoulder lifting, like military press, lateral raise, even bench press or pec decks, my right shoulder wont stay back.

Like when I do military press, I put my shoulders back towards the seat and my left shoulder stays back while my right goes forward. Even when I do push ups, my right shoulder is further down then the left. Everytime I push some weight, I have to put that shoulder back in place, quite annoying to keep doing it and then it moves back out. Its not popping out anything, it just wont stay back.

A thing to note is that my left arm was in a cast for about 4 months so the use of my left shoulder was very minimal. This caused alot of atrophy (muscle decay) in that shoulder, but my bicep, tricep and forearm muscles were completely gone. Now my bicep, tricep in my left arm can handle more weight then my right cuz I trained them alot. I didn't pay too much attention to the shoulder however.

Now the weird thing is, I get alot of pain in the LEFT shoulder while I lift. I don't know if its because of my right shoulder not being in place or if my left shoulder is weak from my accident. When I dont lift, and its just hanging there, it doesnt hurt. But once I start using it again, it will start hurting. I might be benching wrong but Ive been reading articles and trying to follow em to the dot, but this shoulder issue is really annoying.

Any advice?

I'm having a similar problem, your probably going to need some type of physical therapy to get the strength evened out, or need a trainer to train it back to correct

ive had loads of shoulder probs which resulted from one shoulder being futher forward. In my case it is due to muscle imbalances in the rotator cuff and lower trap/rhomboids muscles (that hold the scapula in place) caused by playing lots of one side dominant sports. I agree you should go see a physio who can give you exersises to pull the shoulder back.
