Shoulder injury

About three weeks ago I aquired a shoulder injury. I currently train in MMA and bodybuild, so I do not really know how the injury occured. I just awoke one morning to bad shoulder pain. It began like it might be in the rotator cuff, but in a few weeks time it has moved to the front delt. It doesnt hurt as long as I do not bench press or do pushups. I can do front shoulder presses, but not front lateral raises. Has anyone had a similiar injury that could maybe shed some light on what might be wrong?

I tore a ligament in my shoulder recently pain sounded simaler my doc said even if some movements dont seem to hurt it I could be doing more damage
any way if it were me I would not do any thing with my shoulder until better.

I have an issue with an ac joint impingement in my right shoulder and the pain when I'm digging with my finger tends to be under the front right deltoid in the bicep attachment. Not that this is necessarily your problem but it is mine.

Don't do anything to irritate the injury. I had similar symptoms and physical therapy for 10 months helped tons. I have a low grade partial thickness articular sided tear of the supraspinatus tendon. You need to see an orthopedic surgeon asap and get checked out.

Sounds like possibly Bursitis. Pain moving from the rear now impinging in the front. If so it's caused by inflamation of the bursa sac impingingwith the motions that you feel it pinch where there is a pain followed by weakness in the area. Try not to let it pinch first off, because everythime you do it causes further inflamation. second, Take Naproxen 500mg 3 times a day and ice your shoulderin the front and back for at least 15mins or more every couple of hours. sleep with a pillow under you arempit and lay on your back, don't sleep on the sore shoulder side! after a 3 days of this if you feel it's slightly better strengthen with a rubber band or med tubbing doing rotator cuff motions. and there is a bunch of movements to streghthen shoulders that the physio therapist will give you. Ice right after.
