Should the Cops Use $$$ When Talking About Drug Bust?

The crack 4 year old got me thinking. I mean is it really a good idea for the feds to say we seized 2 million dollars worth of coke, heroin etc? I mean people say "dang that crap is worth alot of money and I owe alot of bills. I think I am going to start dealing to make ends meet. " See what I am saying? They should just start saying the weight instead of the dollar amount imo anyways. What do ya'll think?

Such as? Wait a minute I know your reason. Your drug dealer raises your prices when he thinks demand might go up because supply was just messed with by the cops? right?

Because people dont think in terms of wieght... they think in terms of more dollars= more drugs siezed.

But thee are comepletly arbitrary numbers... what the cops dont steal... or the feds dont steal.. gets reported and Im sure thats probably exxagerated to the extreme.

The war on drugs is VERY profitable for our government... they maintain an artificial control over the populace and have a great excuse to tax the shit out of us. One of their biggest financial contributors (the pharmeceutical industry) makes a killing competing against the black market for drugs with all its wonderful "cures" for addiction and "prescription" only highs and anti depressants.

The prison industry... LOL that doesnt even need to be spelled out.

Oh yes and now the war on Terror or "Terra" as dumb fuck King George calls it.

Well put. They thing they're not telling you is that what they picked up is but a mere drop in the bucket. The "War on Drugs" is perpetual. There isn't an incentive to conclude the war on drugs.
