Didn't she want to ride in it? And yea it was funny. It was a joke not a lie. But I guess there is a fine line there. There is also a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like a idiot. (that is an old proverb)

She may have wanted to ride in it. She`s not a materialistic person at all. That`s why the "That`s why she married you." post makes no sense. It was really no big deal, it just happened.

I definately regret it. I`ve never lied to her before (without joking) and this was sort of a betrayal. It really sucked because she was hurt when she found out the truth. I was very apologetic and felt badly about the whole thing. It was not my intention for it to go that far.

It all started with "Yes, Yes I did buy that truck."

I never asked really if she thought it was funny. I would guess, NO. lol Her family and mine thought it was very funny though. Her sister could`nt stop laughing when we told her the truth.

When we first met, I asked her if she wanted to hear a joke, she said "I`m not really into jokes and laughing..." OMG I was hooked. She has`nt stopped laughing since.
