Is it worth it, even though I haven't read the book? Nor do I believe in much religious garbage! What are your thoughts? :Chef: :tuc:

I really want to see it but not on opening night!! What's the big religious stink anyway...the book is a fiction. I'm not much religious either so seeing it is no big deal to my morality.

What part of Ohio are you from? :Chef: :tuc:

The reveiws are so-so and not so good. They were hoping to rake in 100 million the first week, I bet that new animated picture, Over the Hedge or something will be number one.

I have heard that this movie is a real stinker, and it is 2 1/2 hours long. I'm waiting for it to be on DVD. Then, if I don't like it I don't feel so bad about taking the DVD out as I would walking out of the theater.

well it would be a shame to see tom hanks put his name on a shitty moive.the guy has bin on a role.evry movie he has bin in has bin the shit for like a decade now.

the religuse stink is the man who made the book is clameing it all to be a fact and true.if even one part of it was true it would shake the foundatoins of religouns around the world.

I just came back from it. It matched the book exactly, preety much, so I enjoyed it (even though i was in the 2nd row from the front.) The suspence parts were good and I jumped twice! It actually made me preety scared at parts even though I read it (like a year ago). Peeps who haven't read the book, GOOD LUCK trying to understand what's going on...... It's so complicated that you have to be a really good movie watcher to understand all or close to all of it. I am not, so i'm damn glad I read the book.
