Well, your location instructs me to ask you...so why dont you just buy me one and write a review for me?

I asked myself the same question back in december. $700 for an iPhone when I can get a nice Blackberry 8830 for $250 ? Fuck it I bought the Blackberry.

Prices are much different these days, my young ward.

Plus I have Cingular, and I dont mind signing another extension on my contract.

Indeed but it's for both the iPhone and Blackberry. Again it depends on you and your needs. I needed something that could work on both CDMA and GSM network, with mini-SD, e-mail, GPS and the iPhone couldnt give it all..

Good call.

I just like gadgets. Which is why Ill probably make the retarded decision to buy a Blu-Ray player sooner rather than later.

Always wait for version 2 of any electronic gizmo. I wouldn't mind a Sony Blackjack II.

I'm not familar with the Sony Blackjack II but if I still had my eBay gig I would love a hand held something to go online with and check stuff.

If I had one now I'd just be surfing EF. That would be harder to justify.

I believe the new iPhones are the "2nd generation."

Plus my inherent bigotry prevents me from getting anything with the word "black" in it. This even extends to my filipino wife, whose hair I spraypaint white every weekend.

do you really NEED that phone?
No, much like Im sure you didnt NEED the brand of car you purchased.

Im sure a Yugo would have sufficed, yes?

It's cool but I've never been into Apple products.

I have blackberry - wife has iphone.

iPhone is much cooler and that is the way to go IF and that is a big IF, you don't need to have mail from your Microsoft Office/Exchange.

Yeah, but I dont use that stuff anyway.

I would mainly use it for the phone, Ipod, and schedule.

Along with watching youtube while working.

I don't really care about Windows Mobile but I gots to have my sExchange, gmail, IM's, and camera. MP3 is purely optional.

Aight I just picked one up this morning. If I dont like it I will blame all of you.

How do you iPhone owners like the service? I have heard AT&T's service blows. That is the only real thing keeping me from buying one. It doesn't look like Apple will have a new service provider anytime soon. Peace

Ive had Cingular for 4 years, and have had experience with Tmobile and Verizon.

ATT is the only service I can tolerate.

Its fucking awesome.

If you are in a area with WiFi itll take about 10 seconds for a 3-4 youtube clip to load.

Good shit.

I loaded 20 episodes of The Office on here. Its what Ill do instead of work.

How much loot? $$$

Get "Iphone: The Missing Manual" from Amazon for a ton of worthwhile tips and tricks...
or go to a bookstore and thumb thru it... there's something that'll you'll instantly want to try and will make you say "ok, that's cool" on almost every page...
As far as the Iphone pricing, 8 gig is $399 almost everywhere, or you can check craigslist and get "unlocked" versions for a bit more, or find someone to unlock or "jailbreak" yours for $25...

Standard AT&T EDGE service. Itll take about 10-15 seconds for the Drudge Report to load completely.

I'm posting from it right now. They're handy, endlessly entertaining and my bill is no more than it was with my old phone. Plus i've got like 4 days of music on this bitch, which I think is cool.

You should be able to...
u can't actually. Apple forbids it.

i have one and hated it, gave it to my husband. I was use to texting and responding to emails on a blackberry. The Iphone touch screen slows you down greatly.

like the ipod part of it though. hate that you can't send and receive pictures unless you log into your email to do it. Internet is pretty fast depending on where your at. Now my husband he loves it....but he didn't need it for business like i did he has it for more of an entertainment purpose.

You should be able to send/receive pics and video without logging into your email (through SMS). And the Blackberry is the reason why I sold my iPod. With a 8gb micro-SD card, it's basically an iPhone without the logo...
