X box is the best. Halo is the best. It is a decision that you will not regret.

Xbox over playstation anyday.

yeah, we have a ps2 in the house. but it seems the xbox is more versetail(sp?) and if i can get it as a present why not?

X box blows PS 2 away in every department. It chews and spits it out.

And here's a bonus for you: HL2 will come out for xbox.

I too was once faced with the descision of xbox or PS2.

I chose xbox.

I chose wisely.

Halo1, Halo2, Ninja Gaiden, Doom3, HalfLife 2,......need I say more?

The only sexual references you'll be seeing is me dry-humping your dead body on the tv screen. Over and over.

Fable is an excellent game if you like role-playing/adventure types and actually have the patience and time to sit and play it thoroughly.

but nothing compares to Halo.

I love RP/action adventure games...but Fable was to shallow and simple.

Plus I don't like how limited you are as to where you can go.

I guess I got spoiled on Morrowind, where you truly could do anything you wanted, it's a much deeper game.

i played through Halo on my Pc, ill wait for Halo 2. probably can get Halo cheap for christmas anyway.

Burnout 3 was kickass, we played fourplayer and had a blast. Fable is great, i love games like that.

PC = better graphics, download patches, comes out first.

Xbox = Being able to lay my fat ass on the couch and play.

Yes, dude, get an Xbox, and Mortal Kombat: Deception, if you ever liked MK. You'll love it.

You obviously have a PC why not just get a kick ass gaming PC the graphics are 1000 times better than xbox and you can play tons of online games that are way better anyway, more people and more servers! IT costs more for a gaming PC but, it's worth it IMO. Anyway next year Xbox 2,PS3 and Nintendo Project Revolution come out so your Xbox will be obsolete. Another thing about consoles is you can't upgrade them.
The only thing I can say where consoles are better for online gameplay is that there are way less cheaters.

By the way Halo is on PC and you can play it online.

True True, i was a PC gamer for years but got tired of playing with the computer and wanted something easy that i did not have to boot up to play. The x box graphics are pretty good, as as good as a pc but then again you're playing on a TV with barely 400 lines of resolution. Personally i find the graphics on the x box good enough, they're head and shoulders above PS2 and certainly Nintendo, while it's not SVGA they're very good.

Also Halo took about 2 years to hit the PC market. So the pc market is loosing games all the time. The new HL2 will hit xbox very soon after it hits PC gaming. But PC gaming will propably wait 1-2 years to get Halo 2. But if the good console games hit the PC makets very quickly i may forget the Xbox 2 and go back to PC gaming.

well actually it actually works the other way around as well often times a game comes out for the PC long before any consoles. Look at Medal of Honor,Doom 3, Half Life, Return to Castle Wolfenstein,Battlefield and sometimes they don't even port any of the good PC games over to consoles.

If you wanna see what I mean about more players online go to gamespy and look how many people are playing HALO on PC vs Xbox. right now its 82-xbox 2686-PC

I know all the games you mentioned. I played them all and enjoyed them. Halo will be played on PC more right now because it has not been out that long for PC. On xbox its been long played out. There are advantages to consoles and PC's. I bought the xbox because it's a good middle ground.

I've never been a PC gamer but I've always known PC will have the best graphics. You also have to spend a lot more money on a PC to play to best games as smoothly as they possibly can be. With a console it'll usually match PCs when it 1st comes out then the game grows and 5 years later a new console comes out and it starts all over again. A kickass PC is about $1,200 and that's for no name one. A name one would be more like $2,000 while console seems to be around $300-400 when they come out. PC games are great but I am at the computer enough and don't want to sit at a desk for the bulk of my gaming.
