should i get a tattoo ?

I'd say no...only because you MIGHT regret it....

If you know for SURE you won't, then go for it....

Otherwise, your're screwed.

I have 2 tattoos and i like em:)
maybe when im old and grey i will regret them but by then ill be wearing granny panties and polyester pants so it wont matter:(

Get it in between your shoulder blades. Females love it specially on a ript back...

I plan on getting a lion holding a sword in that same area. (refer to avi) ;)

Make that into a big picture and hang it in your living room. If after one short year you still like it there, get the tat. Chances are after six months you will think it's stupid and take it down. Point is, a picture on your wall you can take down if you decide you don't like it. Tats, however, are a different matter.

yeah ok true... but i have cum up with plan B !!!! i go to the doctors to a nail taken out, or something painfull. and before i get the injection, i sneek it into my bag. yeah ok so i will say to him once i have it that im feeling much better and run out of there, with the injection, and before i get my tattoo, just inject myself in the neck with it????????? what you guys think ? will it work ? that way i get a great tattoo, with no pain at all !!

dont get that skull tribal crap, i guarantee down the road you;ll hate it (i hate mine)....if you want a tattoo get something with some meaning, even your name is better cuz you wont regret it, or get a cross..some shit that means somethign to you.
 
no tattoos for me...I gave it some thought and decided that it's just not worth it :)

self expression is great, if I had the money to piss away right now I would have full sleeves.
 
Dont get a tat man. Not yet atleast. Give yourself a couple more years than decide. By then, you might even have some even better and much more symbolic ideas for tatoos. Give it time, son. Give it time.
 
you really have to want it,and it should mean something to you,otherwise you will get sick of it, hence my irish themed tattoo's,as being of irish desent is something that wont ever leave me
 
Tattoo to me is like an exploration of identity during a certain phase in one's life. Once you moved pass such phase the tattoo becomes unwanted and less expressive of your identity.
I would never want some tattoos on my body nor would I recommend it to you.
 
mmmm, good advise guys, and im cumming up for 19, so yeah over here im an adult !! 18 - drink, 18-xxx, 18-tattoos ... scary really but mentaly im like 12 . lol... so i mean i can see what you are all saying about growing up and not wanting it in like 10+ years. and i think its true, but i still think it would look so good on me. and whats wronge with the trible skull thing ??
 
lol me either,but if by chance I do make it I want to be proud of myself and not have my grandkids ask me why I have such stupid shit put on my body.

personally I think a tatt should have personal meaning,not because it looks cool is all,because there is one thing Ive learned and thats what you think is cool today is fucking stupid tomorrow
 
if you think you will like it when you are 50, then sure, go for it.

Oh I've never gotten any.. but my ex GF got one (I drew it) she said it was no big deal (lower back)

certain places hurt more then others.

also if the dude uses a bent or dull needle you are fucked..

use a place that does not AUTOCLAVE and reuse needles. you want a brand new one everytime.

There are some sketchy places out there man.

yeah i have heard, everyone says ok this place is great go there, then when i speak to another person they say that place tht the other place is crap and go somewhere else, so im getting told tons of places to go.

its tough man, you gotta find somenoe you trust who has some tatts from a place..

in san diego people look for someone with some cool ink.. like on the beach, then ask them for a referral.. people always love it when people notice their tatts and ask them about them.

I'm not so sure getting skullz and stuff would be a good idea though bro, get something that really means something to you and will for many many years.
 
about pain,my arm tatt's didnt hurt,but my most recent,the cross on my calf,hurt like hell by the time I was done,mainly due to colour choice, also the more lines the worse it will hurt some people say
 
i don't recall any ceratin color hurting more or less than basic black.....the location of the tattoo and the artist make the difference.
 
If you're going to get a tattoo, I think it should be something that has personal meaning to you. You shouldn't be relying on people on an internet chat board to decide what and where you're getting your tattoo...
