Should Canada become totally Independant?

Canada is totallly independent. The Canadian crown is completely separate from the British crown...it just so happens that the same person wears both. It's a subtle distinction, but an important one. Canada could de-link the two by amending the section of the Canada Act that establishes the succession to the Canadian throne.
