shorter versus longer cycles

Hey guys,

Recently I've been entertaining the concept of shorter more frequent cycles (6 weeks max) with 6-8 weeks off. Considering the time is short I would stick with the shorter ester tests (prop and suspension if I can get it) as well as Var, tren, whinny, etc.

I was wondering if this method is easier on one post cycle? Will shorter derations not shut you down as hard. Will levels test levels come back up faster. Also increasing blood viscosity and high BP was an issue for me on the last 12 weeker of test I did. I'm hoping I can avoid such exposure to this for long derations of time via a shorter cycle. Your thoughts?

Was contemplating the same thing actually. A few months ago I would have been against it but nowadays I'm starting to think otherwise. Using the shorter ester steroids for a shorter duration I would think that would be a good idea as it wouldn't cause as much shutdown. I'm leaning more towards this type of method as opposed to the method of moderate doseage long duration useage with a long off period as well. This Spring and Summer I plan on staying on but afterwards I'm leaning towards trying this idea definately.

BTW - not a big fan of the really shore duration 2 week on 2 week off cycles though.

ok- here's a stat i'd like to put forward.. i read it somewhere(don't remember where though) and i'd like some of the bros to comment on it. after 4wks on ANY dose of dbol (assuming it is taken twice ED) the natural test production drops to around 60% of normal. this is a generalisation but it is wrong to assume that a 6-8wk cycle with shorter esters and everything will be hunky dory.

Shadow, by no means am I implying everything will be hunky dory using shorter esters. I'm just coming from the logic that 12 weeks versus 6 will undoubtably harder. Plus I kind of like the notion of less time off, helps me focus on the future with more ease.

ok- i wasn't of much help with that earlier post. but my OPINION is that lots of short cycles with short gaps in between isn't the best way to recover. in fact i believe that as a lifting "enthusiast" (which most of us are) there should always be long gaps between cycles. for example i have done cycles of 12 wks, 8 wks and 5 wks in the past. but i do like the idea of shorter cycles BUT with long off periods. i have found that even on a short cycle, moderate doses or even long esters like sus is pretty useful. just telling u abt my own experience. i wouldn't suggest 6-8 wks off periods bcoz that is precisely the time u will likely take to recover fully even on a good PCT. i'd suggest off periods of more than double of 6-8 wks else u'd be quite dependent on AAS.
