Short guys ( 5'8 and under) vs tall guys (5'10 above) in social sitations

maybe once he bagged one hot chic, he used her to bag others. went to parties, bars, etc. with this one hot babe, got other chics interested in him, then cashed him. women are weird like that

so it would seem everyone is perfectly happy w/ their own height?

good to hear... i'm 6'1.5'' (seein though we are down to the half inch today)

a natural athlete tall or short is gonna be a good athlete regardless BUT i would put money that a short natural athlete would have been much more successful had they had the extra 1/2 foot...

bein 6'1'' i come across the occasional female that is taller than me and that fucks my shit right up...makes me feel like less of a man lol...i could care less if a guy was taller than me...on average anyone taller than 6'1'' is gangly/awkward... (on average!) so if i was 5'6 there would be alot more females that i had to look up to plus the ones my own height would be wearing some sort of high heal most likely...BUT HEY at least the "center of gravity" would be on my side and thats all that matters:p

That idea is outdated by about 20 years. Tall guys dominate professional athletics, have more kids, and make more money.

They also are easier to get along with.....no Napolean complex. They are called "Lankers" at West Point.......and known for being easy to deal with.

I might tend to agree if you changed you figure to 6'6" or so. I don't think that being 6'2" gives a predeliction towards awkwardness.

For the sake of argument, it is interesting that only 1% of men are 6"4" or more yet they represent a very large percentage of the players in American sports, even at the college level. And basketball is a greater test of agility than most other sports.

theres alooooot of people in the world

for the sake of argument lets say there are 220 million ppl in the usa

1% of that would be 2.2 million? my math sucks and my estimations on ppl in the us is even worse but i cant be off enough to make to much of a difference any way

how many professional athletes are there?

If you have 99 billion Americans with 1% over 6'4" yet representing over 40% of the players in the three major American sports......that means a tall guy is 40 times more likely to be a pro player than a shorter guy. Somehow I don't think taller guys necessarily tend towards awkwardness.

Wilt Chamberlain was 7'2" and extremely agile.......as an example.
