The real gossip is in the schools.

My son came home yesterday saying that there was a rumor going around school that some kids planned on another mass shooting at his school and two others in our area tomorrow. He also said that in a search of some students vehicles security guards found two bullet proof vests and some guns. When I asked him who was saying this he insisted "everyone". So I called the school when we got home and all they would say was yes there are some awful rumors going around and they have increased security at the school, blah, blah, blah.

Now both my kids want to stay home tomorrow.

Same here, rumor is that someone is shooting up the HS tomorrow. They closed school tomorrow. We had snow today, but there is no reason for school to be closed tomorrow. It makes me wonder if they're just hoping all of this will die down after the break.

FWIW, V, I'd keep them home if it were at all possible. Then again, I started homeschooling my kids because of the school shootings combined with "No Child Educated" legislation that W passed.

So new possible twist to the story, killers mom turns out to be paranoid end of the world fanatic who asks her son to kill her and people from school? ( I don't have real facts to this I was discussing with someone) but apparently they found something in the moms house surprising that they're not releasing
