i Just went through all that shit. Had bleeding for some time. Had a colonscopy done 2 months ago and found that i had inflamed internal hemorrhoids.

Check to see if anyone in your family has had colon cancer. It is one of the most heriditary cancers. If yes, you MUST see a doctor and preferably a gastroenterologist.

Go to your GP and if you want piece of mind, have him refer you to a gastroenterologist. Because blood from the bowel is the only warning of bowell cancer, you should get it checked out. It is not fun and the check up is invasive, but get it done for piece of mind.

It was always bright, but you can't take the risk Danielson.

A reputable gastroenterologist will always recommend a thorough examination regardless of the colour of the blood, particularly if bleedng occurs over a period of time. ANY bleeding from the bowell should be checked out.

Sure, if the blood is darker in appearance, alarm bells will ring, but it needs to be checked out nonetheless.

External hemorrhoids will not cause bleeding in most cases, it is internal hemorrhoids that will do this.

I'm 29.

I had bleeding for a prolonged period (years). My gastroenterologist basicaly said he thought i was ok, but that if i wanted piece of mind, i should have the colonoscopy done. He said if i was 40+ he would be pressuring me to have it done, but that because i was still young, he would leave it up to me. I decided to have it done for my own piece of mind.

Discretion is the better part of valour in these situations.

Actually been having a lot of anxiety lately and trouble falling asleep so I have been taking in a lot of aspirin. Tyl PM, etc, but more than normal...why can this cause this?

LOL! Hell yeah! Aspirin inhibits the production of the prostaglandins in your body. Prostaglandins protect your stomach from the inside. (I'm from Finland, so I don't know the exact terms for this shit - sorry.) Also it's known that Aspirin causes hemofilia, which prevents your wounds from healing in "normal speed".
