Shin Splints and Squats

Hey guys im currently recovering from light shin splints I've taken a week off and my legs feel much better, I will be taking a 2-3 more weeks depending on how I feel during light sessions of cardio.

What I'd like to know is; will doing squats slow the healing of my legs???

Thanks in advance.

they will help you
i squated with stress fractures
it was teh jarring of the impact running that caused me pain

actually the only good aspect is the increase in blood flow and metabolism. Its good that your saturating the tissue with good stuff. But if you do 2 much weight and cause the body to work real hard to repair the torn tissue it would slow down recovery. High reps low weight.

I'm not sure if Tibialis raises would be bad or good. They do strengthen the area where your shin splints are but I'm not sure if you want to strengthen them causing further injury.
