flex229 New member Aug 8, 2005 #4 as long as it was kept in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight,,,it should still be ok..8-10 months isnt very long at all.. if it were a few years old, then you might have a problem,,because supposedly gear will lose its potency over long periods of time.
