And dont think I am talking out of my ass either. There is this one girl I can't have but am very much in love with but c'est la vie.
We are good friends so that's ok, we were friends before. Funny thing is I seem to stay friends with the past few I have been with or wanted to be with. Just takes time to get over the bullshit and mature out.

I have experience with meth from a few years back.
I will say that I've never gotten as depressed from meth as I have from a broken heart.
But your point is interesting. You are right about the literal chemical addiction that comes from love.
If it's similiar to dopamine/epinepherine, I would try taking some ephedrine to let yourself come off slowly. Sounds strange huh? It helped me out...I've got to go do some stuff now, talk about this more tomorrow.
