Shaving Question

I shave my chest in the summer but have never done my arms before....bro's does your armhair grow back thicker when you stop shaving it??

I shaved my arms a long time ago and the hair that grew back is very thin and it remained that way.

From everything I know shaving does not make the hair come back thicker - it just seems thicker because people get used to the hair being gone.

I am sure some of the pro-BBers here who shave everything can give you better insights than me.

I shave everything but trim my forearms down, only part I do not totally shave. I do not razor shave either, I use this thing called the 'Body groomer' works great, rechargable and water proof gets very close without ingrown hairs. http://www.shaveeverywhere.com/ <-- click on Body bottom right.

I have cycled (bike) for about 15 years, shaved my legs for oh about 10 of those years, I don't think it looks thicker, but I never let it grow out all the way.

no.

Some day, I will get laser hair removal done over almost my entire body though. Shaving sucks.

I want to do the same but just a section of my head, maybe have a pentagram up there.

lol @ shaveeverywhere

unless u r below 7% bodyfat u r fooling urselves if u shave to show off your "definition".

trimmed and groomed body hair draws attention to the body parts u studs are trying to get gals/guys to notice and is one hell of a lot easier to maintain. :p

why would anyone want to get naked next to someone whose skin feels like 600 grit sandpaper? cause this is just what u feel like a day or two after bodyshaving. :chomp:

Nothing grows back thicker when you shave it. Shaving has no effect at all on hair thickness or density. On any body part. That's an old wives tale.

^^^ what he said.

NO hair removal process will make hair "come back thicker and darker".

I shave my scrotum, and the wifey loves it.

The Old Grump don't use a razor, he uses an electric shaver which is more than good enough. When you use a razor as that shit grows back it is NASTY itchy...
