Shaving Arms ...

Intrigue

New member
I don't know if the rest of you have this same problem, but it seems that everytime I shave my arms, I get razor bumps/pimples (some type of red bumps) for the the next month and a half or so. Does anyone have any ideas, how to go about avoiding this reaction? Please advise.

Thanks,
I

yo had the same problem as you here a post i had earlier...

"i went to the doctor and was diagnosed with "Folliculitis." Its a bacterial infection of the hair follicle. One of the casuses is shaving (aggravates staphylococcus aureus folliculitis). Go figure huh? Also, can be spread through a hot tub which i have been using lately. Im taking oral antibiotic treatment and a topical treatment. I also got a chemical peer and its aready clearing up

btw...I read on the net that plucking the infected hairs is a bad thing.
"

anyway do a search on folliculitis...im saying this is what you have, if so go to a dermatologist. other suggestions are to only use a new razor when ya shave...

peace
