I'm gonna try it again, considering I just droped 105 bucks on it... but if I can't eat then what's the point... I need to eat every 3 hours and if the sight of food make me want to toss up my cookies then it's not worth it to me and I will stop taking it, although I have to admit, it would be nice to continue taking it if it helps with fat loss. Does it really help with burning fat or is it mainly an appetite suppressant???
 
I'm not sure..........Maybe try one with a small meal (like Sassy said) - see how you feel & maybe you just need 1 a day, not whatever is on the label.
 
Alright I have some digital photos but they are to large for me to upload (500 by about 510 and 520-530). Not sure how to get them on here. I tell you what looking at yourself in pictures like that is quite humbling. Especially having the guts to post them on this webpage. So I'm really hoping to get some good constructive criticism so I can change the way I look, not looking for sarcasm on this or jokes.
Sooo..... anyway.... Yeah I'm going to the gym again now... feel like I should just kinda stay there for the next year.

Ahhh, I felt like that too - noone here will say ANYTHING bad!! It's all about support & the support here is great :) - Try following the program Shadow made, it seems like everyone is getting results ;)

As always, it depends on the person, but generally it takes a while for your body to process stuff out of your system -so if you introduce stimulants after say 3 pm, it might affect your ability to fall asleep or to get a quality night's sleep. Most thermos recommend you don't take after 3 pm. Also if you are taking more than 1 / day (at different times) you probably have a cumulative effect as well.

Try taking it at different times of the day -- I know its a challenge to remember to take it earlier in the day if you train at night for example. I definitely feel the kick wihtin 20 min - so you can try it at that later time in the day & see how you sleep. It might not be a big deal for you.

I'm only taking one a day... I took one today after my oatmeal and P.shake
I do not feel sick at all. I feel good no jitters, no dizziness. I also eat lunch so all those side effects might be from taking it on an empty stomach.
I'm not working out today, but tomorrow I'm gonna do some HIIT cardio in the am. I should go with out the Trex before eh???? and then when I get home , eat some breakfast and then take Trex????
 
I definately felt sides when taking it empty stomach. I CANNOT take it without some food in me. I could never take it pre-AM cardio. I always did cardio empty stomach, then took T-Rex after breakfast. It just worked for me that way.

I never got jitters either. If I did cardio in the afternoon, I noticed I got hot faster and sweat more.

I'd stick with one a day for awhile. You will notice that you will get used to this dose after a week or so. Probably first thing you'll notice is your appetite comes back. Then you can go to 2 a day, spread out. I wouldn;t take 2 at a time for awhile - that nausea will kick your booty if you aren't ready for it,

Personal Info here - one big thing you'll notice with T-Rex is an increase in going poopy. :) You'll likely have to go more often or they will be "more productive". This is a good sign, means your metabolism is chugging along faster. :)

Anyway... That’s what I will do... cardio am. Then breakfast with T-rex. After one week and when my appetite comes back full force, I will up it to two Trexs a day.
Do I then up it to 3 in another week? Another thing; do I have to "cycle" this (take a break from it for a couple weeks like you do with the old ephedrine formulas)
 
As you adjust to T-Rex, I would add one at a time. I wouldn't take them after 4ish - it can affect your sleep. Esp if you are at all sensitive to sleep issues, or sleep is easily interrupted. The week plan I have here is a VERY rough exmaple, you adjust as needed. You may need to adjust dose more or less often. Individual response varies greatly.

For example:
Week 1 - 1 8am
Week 2- 1 8am, 1 12pm
Week 3 - 1 8am, 1 12pm, 1 3pm
Week 4 - 2 8am, 1 12pm, 1, 3pm OR 1 8am, 1 10am, 1 12pm, 1 3pm
You get the point. :)

I like cycling. I think it works best for everything. You could do 4 weeks on T-Rex, 4 weeks on ECA (or other fat burner).

Today is a foul-up….. We got a blizzard last night, and pretty much everything is closed today. The gym isn’t opened, so I couldn’t do HIIT today. To substitute I did a Tae-Bo video & tried to do ‘double time’ as the 30 sec intervals.

My work is closed, but I am here anyway (It’s closer to the gym & I’m hoping it may open at some point today)

The mail will be put on hold ANOTHER day, still waiting for my r-ala & yohimburn!

Shadow – today I ran out of the ala I had. The only place that is opened here is Supervalue – I picked up some ALA – it’s 100% Alpha-Lipoic-Acid (250mg) Do I still take 1 with each shake / carb meal? Am I missing out because I have the ala instead of the r?
 
It's 2pm & the gym is still not opened. I even called a few others to see if they are....no luck :rolleyes:

What can I do to make this day not a complete waste? Any ideas?

oh my god!!!! Skittles we got that storm... I can't even see a meter in front of me (outside...lol!). I haven't done any cardio or weights today, I had to wait until my hubby got home. I'm sure everything will close here very soon and my Boo ain't home yet :( (getting worried) I don't think I would feel safe driving even if the gym was open.
so anyway.... just wrote this to say I feel you pain heheheh

Skittles, in those pics of your supplements, it looks like you are taking the GNC bran of multi-vit, anyway that's what I"m taking and it makes my 'pee' florescent yellow, is this normal... does this happen to you?
 
Flourescent pee is normal. It is the excess vitamins and minerals your body can't absorb. Usually B Vits and Vit C.

Even when well hydrated, when I was taking extra B Vits my pee was ALWAYS greenish-yellow. (waaaaaaaaaay too much info!)

I always take my vit before bed, so I notice it only with my first morning urine. Otherwise the rest of the day is pale pale yellow or clear.

Now that everyone knows about my urine........lol

Well Skittles, Shadow... I made it to the gym...it took forever and then when I got in the change room, this girl (grade 12) looked awful I asked if she was ok... she looked drunk or high on something... she said "ya I"m fine" I asked her if she needed any water she said "no" I still got it out and handed it to her and then PLUNK!! she's gone passes out on me ... shit I didn't know what to do... I put cold water on her (a bit) and then ran to the front desk for help, by the time we got back she was coming around...
God I was scared... they gave her a Gatorade and she got some color back...

well that got my adrenaline going... had a pretty good work out and then some HIIT cardio 6 cycles.

After my WO I had a PP with PB is that ok for post WO and Pre bed time ;)
I added fat cause I went to bed after, although it was post WO so I wanted fast absorbing... So I donno...:(



then next thing I was wondering about was the difference in form between stiff deadlifts for legs and stiff deadlifts for back.

well....keepa slight bend in hams to target hams and come up2/3 of the way.

not sure really, she said she was sick, never eat all day and went to the gym only to gosip in the steam room and hot tub. she was hang out in them for over and hour.

Alright I was told before by a 'trainer' to come up all the way on the hamstrings and squeeze. That it works the area where the upper hamstring and gluteus maximus join. Is that wrong? I'm having a hard time walking today, and my inner thighs are KILLING.

no...but it involves a lot of lumbars for that area.....


you can come all the wya up and squeeze - nothing worng with that...I prefer to hit lower butt/upper hams on a 45 degree hyper...you using a bar?

think like this...the farther you come up...the higher on the leg it targets...

They have a nautilus machine where you lay on your stomach and bring your feet up to your butt. They have a Hammer Strength piece of equipment that you sit on and bend your knees towards you. Of course there are the leg press, lunges, and split squats that I also do. I just try to mix things up to keep it interesting....

Have no idea how much I weigh right now, I have been experiencing a period from hell & choose not to weigh myself at the moment :rolleyes:

Get my BF tested again tomorrow morn. (she will check my weight than)

After a week, feeling good. Had a couple foul ups (Friday & the gym being closed yesterday) Anyway, your thought please :)

Protein shake........

enough powder to cover 30 gra,s of protein....put this in 1.5 cups of nonfat/1% milk....one teaspoon creatine...same with glutamine podwer fi you have it....take vitamins as well


Meal2:

Handfull(1-1.5 Oz nuts)
500 ml water




Meal 3:


baby spinachleaves with 4-5 sliced strawberries and several bluberries....low cal dressing

can of tuna

a few crakers

500 ml water



Meal 4(after weights)

Same shake as meal one



Meal 5


6 ox lean fish, chicken or beef
small potato(baking or sweet)
green veggie

500 ml water


Sometimes (due to my schedule) I change meals up. At the end of the week (feeling tired & crampy) I added in an extra meal of eggs / oats. Later that night (feeling HUNGRY) I had some fat free jello pudding & a few too many macadamia nuts - they are high in iron/fiber&healthy fat, so it helped put a stop to the cramps/hungry feeling.

Followed the plan on Sat. day. Nightime was my cheat night - had some turtle chocolates / a nice diner & desert. Sunday was back to schedule.

On this diet I don't feel hungry & I am really enjoying it. Thank you all for your support/motivation & thanks to Shadow for all your time your putting into this :)

you weigh 129ish...so 1.25 pounds is about 1%.


take your weight, divide by 100 and then multiply by 2.........this is a good traget for fat loss imo.

2.5-3 pounds plus the water drop

First of all, I find it interesting that you put her on creatine...
Second of all, that she's not bloated and killing you for it...
and third of all that she's actually shrinking...

I am baffled... would you mind going into some more detail on all of this for me? I'm intrigued...

..think of is as a "super hydrator" for inside the muscles..occasionally some water will seep uner the skin causing some bloat...really helps drive wo though

typically weight first thing...am..after you pee....bf - always before the wo as well....



the bf will show a bigger drop then the scale...

I considered asking in pm, but I thought perhaps a general education of his thought process might be beneficial to the rest of the people on the forum as well as myself... but he's being stingy :p j/k

I know he knows what he's doing... I wasn't asking because I was questioning whether he what he was doing was right or not, more that I was wondering about his thought process in including the creatine as a part of this whole plan... you have nothing to worry about, skittles :)

Damnit... I need to keep my proverbial "mouth" shut... LOL... I'm becoming too much of a trouble-maker! :evil:

Skittles have you noticed side effects?

I just got them from GNC, fruit punch wafers. They taste like really chalky sweet tarts. yes, they are gross, but it only lasts like a min.

I'm bloated feeling from my period, not sure about the creatine. I'm feeling full of energy :)
