seriously oddball question for DNP EXPERTS

my lady friend completed a 2-week cycle ~21/2 weeks ago; she had initially planned on going 3 weeks but stopped due to pain in her feet which she attributed to water retention. anyway, all signs of water retention have long since vanished, but she is still experiencing extreme pain. it is particularly painful for her to put any weight at all on her feet. on weekdays, she takes what seems to me to be an insane amount of painkillers for a woman, just to be able toget up and through her day (sedentary office job). even so, she has sudden spasms of pain which she tries to hide, but her face convulses involuntarily. :( it has reached the point where she has stopped training altogether. weekends, she simply stays in bed and watches tv or reads. she cannot bend her toes, when she attempts to, her toes just twitch.

any ideas would be appreciated, i really want my gf back!

Damn bro that sounds weird, i would def. go see a doc ASAP.

Are they swollen?

Yeah are they swollen? I get funny foot pains every once in a while, but nothing like your describing. Go see a doc. It could be an impinged nerve or vertebral problem.

I am a woman, and I have done 2 cycles of 400mg powder a day. So far I have had no adverse effects. I would definitely get her to a doctor, and I would be honest. DNP is harsh, and her body may not be able to tolerate it. The swelling could have caused some lasting damage. We're not doctors here, and I wouldn't mess around. Take her to the doc, and tell her I am wishing her well.

Also, feel free to PM me with any questions regarding a female's cycle of DNP.

Bombshell

thank you all for your concern (esp. bombshell for offering to share details of your cycle). It is appreciated. i have been trying to get her to seek medical attention for the past week, after it became clear that all water had come off. unfortunately, she has refused. she is german, currently residing in the states with me, and will not consent to see an ‘american doctor’. she does not trust them. it may be true that her problem was not caused by DNP, but given the timing of its appearance, it does seem like a viable option. i understand if no one is able to advise under that restriction, but i was told that some very DNP-savvy people could be found on this board, so i will still hold out hope for awhile yet. thank you all once again.

i have never come accross this before, i doubt dnp caused it though. have her take things easy for the next couple of weeks, the problem MIGHT take care of itself, if doctor is seen (as he should be) i doubt telling him that she ran dnp cycle would do any good, as docs tend to be somewhat in the dark on issues of performance enhancing drugs

i aint no doctor either, but that sounds a lot like (diabetic) peripheral neurpathy. read this:

http://www.niddk.nih.gov/health/diabetes/pubs/neuro/neuro.htm

The only documented evidence of a dnp side is the formation of cataracts in women. But neurotoxicity is a general side of all herbicides. read this about dinitrophenyl (dioncap): "Neuropathy and effects on the nervous system have been hypothesized as an effect of prolonged exposure to dinocap (on the basis of its structural similarity to dinitrophenol), but there is no evidence of these effects. " ( http://ace.orst.edu/info/extoxnet/pips/dinocap.htm )

i would seek a neurologist immediately. Untreated, this can lead to lower limb amputation! Read here:

http://www.diabetesincontrol.com/features/feature32.shtml

there has been talk on this board about "temporary" diabetes off dnp: "Since DNP has this inhibiting effect, glycolosis is inhibited as well, causing a diabetic effect due to the conversion of glucose without insulin" (http://boards.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=37585).

And about that not wanting to see an american doctor, that is crazy. the leading role of Germany in medicine is long gone.

I agree with Puns. It sounds like it could be diabetes. I would definitely go tot he doctor and have a blood test.
