Seriously considering another tatt

A tatt artist has been "woo-ing" me LOL. He is one of the best in the state also does oils. If I like his work I may sit for him, but that is another thread.

I described a tatt that I had had in mind for years, but always shyed away from as I felt it would have to be too big and wasn't ready to commit to a tatt that would be seen by others if on the beach or wearing something somewhat revealing. Anyways the guy email me a sketch that with a little work, just *might* do.

I showed it to my kids and THEY LOVED IT and thought it would be cool for me to get it. The tatt is me and them together and the relationship we share... now and always.

LOL It is symbolic silly man. And according to the artist it wouldn't have to be very large. Could be properly and in a very sexy fashion put on my lower abdomen by the hip.

I am closer to 40 than 30. Got my first tatt about 3 years ago and STILL LUV IT... my kids think it neat too. VERY VERY PRIVATE.

This tatt has been "in my head" for about 6/7 years now. I wouldn't do something like this as a snap decision.

Shoot me your email again and I will try to forward it to you. My daughter saw what was "wrong with it" immediately. The face doesn't look like me, the arms are too skinny and the hair is wrong. I am not too crazy about the "flora" in which she is sitting either.

It is a nude fairy cradling butterflies. Very VERY sexy, but ALL the "important" parts are *cough* covered. LOL

Only one other male board member ever saw it and I wont say who he was as he is NOW happily married. (This was 3 years ago so dont ask because I wont tell anyways out of respect for his marriage.)

LOL A pic of that tatt was stolen from the artist's portfolio less than one week after he placed it in there. He told me that had NEVER happened before. Kind of flattered me, but still kind of creeped me out.

Luckily it only took like 20 minutes or so. The guy was like, "Are you sure you dont want to take a break?... Damn, but you DO have a high tolerance to pain!"

Then he goes and says, "You know, when I first started doing this I didn't think it would look right. But now that I am nearly done, this is one of THE PHATTEST tatts, I've done in a while. Would you mind if I took a pic?"

My reply? "Go right ahead. It isn't like anyone will know it is a pic of MY *cough*" LOL

Then when I went back to get a pierce he told me what happened to the biggest, clearest, sharpest image in his portfolio. He also said that NEVER in all the years that he has been doing this (over 20) had that happened!"
