serious swelling from 3ml shot in quad

i usually shoot glutes, and get a lump but doesn't really bother me, i shot my right quad an it was abit dead for a day or 2, 2 days ago i shot 3ml in my left quad and it has blown up an has travelled down to my knee an is very sore an i am walkin with a limp, the injection site is ok but my knee is ver swollen an has a red circle on it. can someone advise me on wot this is an what to do about it please.

Your body probably isn't used to the amount of oil being injected there. Just give it time and it should dissipate over time. If things get worse like fever, hot to touch, large swelling then go to a doctor.

I don't see why a quad injection would affect your knee. 3ml could be too much depending on your size.

didn't inject deep enough, or rubbed the site too much and caused oil to leak out.

Ive inject delts before and over did the amount my body liked. The soreness traveled down my shoulder and to my mid bicep. The entire area was hard and sore. I think it just happens sometimes.

i've never had pain or anything to that effect to travel down and affect another body part. maybe its the 3ml load. if u heal with no issues, you may want to do 1.5 in each leg.

i might have rubbed the site too much, used a 1" needle went almost all the way in.

I dont like going over 2ml at one time in my quads.
