why is things so differnett when it comes to men and women? Like night and day?

If you own condoms then you're a f'ing stud, if i own condoms im a whore?

I never really understood this whole theory and im sure it will never change.

i think its bullshit and nobody with real maturity doesnt think like this, i saw there is nothing wrong with being responsible.

and really ive had girls who wanted sex shut it down when i brought out my own rubber, they thought i was expecting it by bringing it with me. so I guess it works both ways

Uhmmm, well I think it's because men like to distance themselves from women. They want to be better than women, so to put distance and ensure superiority they create a double standard. This is not true for all men.

Us men are self obsessed, for the lack of a better word. We don't care what other people really say, members of our own sex never pull us down, and we are all the same. We have what i like to call, a healthy attitude towards life, in the sense of this topic. On the contrary, women are insecure, the emotionally injurious to each other, blah, blah, blah... you know we don't really care to speculate feminine flaws, we are happy with the things the way they are.

Back in the day when I was having sex and stuff I always had condoms. I think any responsible person should if they're at a point in their life when such things would be necessary.

Now I just read and hang out with my dogs. lol

Your example is pretty simliar to the double standards about men sleeping with lots of women and they are labeled studs and when women sleep with many men they are labeled sluts.

i don't agree with much concerning sexual practices. i think we're talking about a certain sector of the populace when these things are involved. there really are some good people out there who value intimacy and trust. and then there are those who are trying to fill this gigantic void by consuming others' sexually. i could say that everyone should be monogamous and respect other's relationships. but then there is the fact that sex is neccessary, a needful thing as far as sanity and stress relief and sometimes the only good feeling a person can have. there is this point as well: women have been offered sex from the time she is a teen to the time she is dead. men do not have that option, lest you're lke me, of course, or GD or so he claims. but if you are an ugly guy, ya gets none, less ya be payin' for it. women are expected to have more tact and class, a big responsibility, i guess, to keep your thighs abut, but it's a case by case situation. but ugly girls still get laid more than ugly guys. i'll post more if'n you're not satisfied.....
 
I'll play the advocate here and say it is because most men go and buy condoms praying they get to use them. Most women buy condoms and use them when ever they want to. So the dif might be the fact men=hope and luck women=choice thus making a different perception in possession.

I think its if a woman says she has condoms she's a slut. Like sleeping with a woman and you pull out a condom and she says "nice choice". I mean, at that point, not like you are expecting her to be a virgin but its no time to show "brand loyalty"

I dont agree with the double standard ... I like meeting women that have condoms or that are sexually active ....women should be able to have fun too .with out the labels or names ...they should have fun around me more often and I will be happy ...I think women are worried about what other people will think ...along this topic than men are and if women didnt care like men ) this would not be a problem .........all men want a woman that is sweet and not been around ...but all men like to get around ...its just like men that say a woman has never faked an orgasms with them .....but 80% of all women say they have faked one .......I would rather have a girl who is comfortable with who she is ...adventurous in bed than one who is concerned with what other people think .....if you have fun and leave it at that (dont spread the rumor ) you are living a healthy life and having fun ...there is nothing wrong with that

I much prefer a complete blood work up and health check then ditch the condoms and plan on a better form of birth control. Just take the time to plan it out and make the evening of staying in a four star hotel and great night out.
Condoms, meh, seems so highschool and college, its not enjoyable, if I wanted to fuck rubber Id go out and fuck the tires on my car.

Well, im actually illergic to latex so I'd say your preferance is ideal for me too. I'm not worried about the BC part of it, I have that under control copper T IUD ;)

I hear what you are saying though with the condoms, Ive used them before, one time I had sex on the beach and sand and condom dont mix, when we were finished the condom was gone, the baby came out nine months later with a shower cap on.
Jk, Im just using some comedian lines here, I dont have kids but that was a funny bit.

Condoms have their place and they are good to have around while you are waiting for the blood tests and exams to come back that youre partner is clean of disease and virus. Human behavior may kick in.

I actually don't ever have condoms on hand, but I did use them when i was married because i couldn't take BC and I didn't know about the IUD. Was hella paranoid about having another baby... I go in and out of spurts, sometimes i trusted the ol pull out method sometimes not.

You know one day im gonna be having this convo with my son and daughter... this is scary

Yeah, the IUD really are awesome IMO, the problem was the Dalkon Shield so they went out of favor b/c of all the negative press and lawsuits, I remember the commercials still.
I dont know why a woman with a stable partner would opt for having to take a pill every day or deal with side effects.

actually many many many years ago it was a fact that if a woman had sex before marriage she was "tainted", "used". she was considered no good and would never get married. though times have changed the mentality of it has not. even though the majority of woman are having sex prior to marriage the thought of the woman being with other men disturbs men. not saying i agree but that aspect has not changed. whats the difference if a woman has sex with one person 10 times a day or 10 people 1 time a day???? sex is sex my friends no matter how you look at it. the only thing that changes how you look at it is disease but back then the STD's we have now we extremely uncommon due to the fact that woman dont have multiple partners. but now a days they do. but as far as being a whore no, i dont agree with that statement. now if she doesnt practice safe sex then yes it does change things. the only woman i would call a whore is one who does it for money.

I myself will try to always have one near me unless i've been dating the girl for awhile and trust her when she says that she's using birth control.

I've seen too many money hungry women around here where I live. Knowing my luck, she'd put holes in the condom trying to get pregnant and suck me dry of my money.

Then there's the other side of the double standard:

I was born, essentially, a bastard. And although that doesn't really mean much anymore culturally, I was hung up on it forever. My biological father was a criminal, a scumbag, and I feared any sexual activity for the longest time because I didn't want to repeat history. I still struggle with these feelings.

My mother abandoned me a little after I was born and left me with my maternal grandparents. Thankfully, they raised me well. But the hang-ups on "being a man", ergo, sexually promiscuous and aggressive, fucked with me until my late teens.

And all the while, I had to watch the "coming of age" of girls all around me: 2 or 3 guys in high school that all the girls wanted. Virginity slayers, I guess you would call them. And it seemed that every time one of these girls would lose it to one of these guys, their lives to a turn towards the fucked up.

So until recently, I shyed away from my sexuality and felt pressured by the standard of being "one of the guys".

Things have changed, luckily. I realize that sex is healthy and great. However, I think that I might have been a little more mentally/emotionally healthy throughout my youth if there weren't so many layers to our cultural "sexual onion".

I have no clue if any of that made any sense...lol

so u basically said i to the guy. i keep my condoms in the second drawer below the sex toys and bullet. when the guy opened the drawer there was used and unused ones and the drawer was overflowing.
