Serious HGH Problem

When was the blood draw in relation to the exo GH dosing that day?

No GH dose was taken before the test on that day. It was taken after the test. But when the results came in the HGH (IGF-1) levels were barely 1/2 of what they were before starting the GH injections. Yes half, it was an almost unbelievable drop and that just doesn't make any sense.

when was the dose prior to the test?? 12 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours??

Dose prior to test was 48 hours. When I think about it I was starting to exibit feelings of muscle and mass loss. So I became concerned for the validity of the GH and skipped a couple of days. I know there have always been discussions on if it promoted muscle or just mass. But I hadn't heard anyone say they lost both while using it. That's when I gave it a couple of days to think about if I was going to continue. Cost a lot of money just to get minus zero effects. Then got tested again only to see those shocking results.

bumping this up

This one scares me a bit. I am getting ready to start and have asked questions in multiple places about suppresion and recovery. This is the first I am seeing where someone is saying a blood test may indicate it. Seems as there are more questions to be answered first though. I am confused as well on the no brand.

Btw based on the nice simple explanation of the antiboides above I now understand why its good to stay away from the gh with the wrong amino acid count.

You were getting it from a US compounding Pharmacy in the Southeast, right? Are you an HRT patient? I'd get tested again, with the draw coming about 6-8 hrs after injection (if going subQ)

Has anyone had this happen or knows why would cause the following problem... A person has a higher HGH (IGF-1 test reading) before he starts taking HGH. Then after being on HGH for a few months gets tested again but to his surprise HGH (IGF-1 test) comes back MUCH LOWER than before supplementing with HGH inj. No good effects nor side effects were noticed from the HGH inj except a little numbing sensation.

Allenb,

Both Juve and Einstein have proposed valid theories. Your particular case actually sounds more like Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism. What were the values of the other hormones (testosterone, LH, FSH ect.) when blood work was performed? I believe you mentioned the decreased readings were during exogenous GH therapy. Was GH administered by itself? If not, were you taking any other AAS or medications prior to or concurrently with GH? Was the GH actually prescribed to you due to a pituitary hormone deficiency? Do you have any preexisting medical conditions? Finally, what is your age?
