serious help clomid/eye problems??

rx123

New member
I just went to the eye doc to get a new rx for some contacts. He told me that i can not wear them anymore because my eyes are not getting enough oxygen. Could this be from the clomid?? Thanks. Oh, i did not tell him that i was on the clomid either.

tell the doc what meds you are tking if you think its whats contributing to your prob, never be scared to talk to a doc they cannot discuss private matters

This isn't due to the clomid, its due to the fact that your old contacts prolly weren't gas permeable enough. As a result, your eyes aren't getting enough O2. That's why your doc doesn't want you on them any longer.

As for opening up to your Dr., sure go ahead if you don't mind him writing "steroid abuser" in your medical records. Bad fucking idea IMO. More people have access to those records than you think, bro.

Why not say your doc is treating you for symptoms of hypogonadism and as a result has you on clomid. This is very plausable and in a sense, accurate.

Good idea as you should disclose all information regarding supplements or medications that could effect your vision.
Who knows, maybe he/she will provide some relief, and share some more insight(NPI) on possibility of visual disturbances with clomiphene citrate.
I told my opthamologist and she told me that it will effect males and females equally.....but did I care? :mix:

Clomid can effect your vision. I got tracers from it. I forget the exact medical reason for it but I learned, although it's rare, it can become permentent. I switched to Nolvadex post. Ask Nelson about it he knew the exact cause.
