Serious GHB Question

Before I get started let me say that a good friend of mine made a dumb mistake and in no way do I condone using GHB for rec purposes.

That said, last week my friends Mark (not his real name), Brian(his real name), and Kim(Not her real name), went out on the town and took some G before going out. Mark is driving home later while Brian and Kim are going at it in the back seat and, suprise, suprise, they get pulled. The cop sees Brian in the back seat putting his pants on and tells him to get out and for some unknown reason, Brian tells the cops that they had been taking G that night, and that there was a 16oz bottle in the back seat! WTF???

They field test the G, it comes back positive, arrest Mark for DUI, posession of Sch I drug, etc... etc.. and then take him to the hospital to draw blood. Mark keeps his mouth shut the whole time, doesn't say shit, goes to jail and posts bond. Now the G was in his car, but my question is, what are the chances of his bloodwork coming back with G in it? He had no other narcotics/alcohol/anything at all in his system, just G he took earlier. I didn't even think G would show up in a drug screen but considering that they found it in his car can they specifically test for GHB? And if so, how long will it show up? I know it metabolizes very quickly and is fucking naturally occurring in your body naturally.

Does anyone know if they can even test your blood for GHB?

I know, "Mark" made some mistakes, taking G before going out as well as taking a dipshit, pussy rat out with him.

Thanks, bros.

I suppose if you tell them what's in it specifically, you saved them money from conducing a myriad of test unless and until they cannot detect ghg or whatever elwe your friend divulged.
