Ok, been working out for a number of years, pretty regularly 3-4 times/week. Back in Oct. i tried my first cycle (small dbol, deca, winny cycle). Got good results but didn't gain much size.

This past weekend i tried to work out what my daily cal. intake was. I eat almost the exact same thing each day so it was pretty easy.

I found that i'm only getting about 2,000 cal, but 200g protein, and about 25g fat. As i weight about 180lbs (5'9") that should be enough protein, but how many cal. should i be getting.?

More importantly, what do you recommend i eat to make up these missing cal.? What are you guys taking to work to eat? I can't spend my lunch in the kitchen making food. :(

morning:
Cereal, toast, shake (vitamins)

pre-lunch:
Tuna sand. apple, shake

post lunch:
Tuna sand. apple, shake

supper:
Chicken breast, sweet potatoes

rice! go to the store and get some 10 minute rice and throw 2 bags in water for 20 minutes and u got a shit load of good carbs. and i would say that u arent taking in enough protein. i would take double your body weight. for breakfast throw the cereal out the window and eat a few cups of oatmeal. spend your night in the kitchen and take your food with u.

well I'd try to get 2 more meals in their or maybe even 2 meal replacements. I'll give you an idea what a bulking diet looks like for me
meal 1 2 peices of chicken breast can of corn or beans
meal 2 2 peices of chicken breast can of corn or beans
meal 3 2 peices of chicken breast and one pack of ramen noodles
meal 4 post workout shake in milk about 65g's of protein
meal 5 2 peices of chicken and a can of beats and a can of peas
meal 6 2 peices of chicken and maybe a small snack.

This is basically what my diet looks like ed so I'd say you need more food to gain because it doesn't look like your eating enough.

to maximise gains on bulking cycles you must eat AT LEAST 4000cals per day, eat red meats, chicken, rice, oatmeal, potatoes, some icecream and sweets, protein intake should be at least 1g/lb of bodyweight

Rice... excellent idea ! I can cook up a big pot and take some with me and nuke it. I'll check into the oatmeal too.

I just got a chicken pita from the food court, YUM! I'll have to stop in the store tonight and pick up some shite and bring one or two of these to work with me.

Serge: Icecream? LOL Is this a test.?

Also don't forget about all the wonderful calories you can get from using oils such as flax, Udo's Choice, MCTs, or any other unprocessed oil like safflower, etc.

"Serge: Icecream? LOL Is this a test.?"

no its not, the point is, if you can get your calories all from clean foods then definetly do so, but when its all said and done you are much better off if you meet your caloric intake by eating crap then if you dont eat enouph, eating crap will still put you in anabolic state, while not eating enouph will slow down or even reverse your progress. when im bulking i shoot for 7000cals per day, now if i get up early enouph i ussually can get those in fairly clean but shit happens, and sugars are much easier to throw in then a bowl of rice. If you have a fast metabolism then you should not even worry about including some junk food to boost your total caloric intake, your goal on bulking cycles should be to maximise your gains in lean body mass, maintaining your six pack is not an issue here

Eat one more time, too. Eat the last one before bed. You could also add a shake of some sort to all your meals. Its best to take in as many of your calories as you can from real food. Doesn't work sometimes with all the calories you need. If you don't have a six pack, then jack the calories. Plan your weeks meals on sunday and cook the night before. Chicken and rice but don't be afraid of red meat, I prefer it. Chicken is just cheaper. Fish is good for tha fast and Flaxseed oil will add calories and essential fatty acids. Safflower oil works too, but not as good.
