OMG. I'm thinking the title might be "Return of the Schwarz".

Brooks To Make Sequel to 'Spaceballs'

A day after announcing plans to film the movie version of his Broadway musical The Producers in New York, Mel Brooks is being quoted as saying that he is currently working on the script for a sequel to his 1987 Star Wars spoof Spaceballs that he would like to rush into production. Asked by Playbill magazine when the film is likely to hit the screen, Brooks replied: "Best case scenario: a week before the new Star Wars opens. Worst Case Scenario: a year after the new Star Wars opens." The new Star Wars movie, Revenge of the Sith, is due to open on May 19, 2005. Brooks also indicated that he will appear in the sequel (although, he said, he won't have a role in The Producers). "It wouldn't feel right to have anyone else play Yoghurt, and the first one was the best experience I've had making a movie since Blazing Saddles," he said.

ALL HAIL THE SCHWARTZ!!!

God that movie sucked.

Mel Brooks hasn't made a decent film in decades, I hope he can pull something funny out of his ass again before he dies.

His next film will be limited because of the politically correct pussies out there.

My boss saw the Producers on stage with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. If he does the film right he might get an Oscar.

I've never seen it, so I cannot comment on it.

But with all the pathetic politically correctness out there, he'll never be able to make another movie like Blazing Saddles and History of the World Part 1.

I wish him luck, I love his movies. It's too bad someone will be offended and then inturn file a lawsuit because their feelings were hurt.

"The Producers" is a film that does NOT need to be re-made. The original, with Zero Mostel, Gene Wilder, and Dick Shawn, is perfect.

Tell him to comb the desert. Do you hear me? Comb the desert!!

Found anything yet?
Nothing yet, sir.

What about you guys?
WE AIN'T FOUND SHIT!!!
.

He was very funny

Hope he still is

spaceballs had some funny parts but it was not a good mel brooks movie. it was a box office flop. when it came out in the late 80s, it was considered dated even then. mel was spoofing movies like star wars and alien which had came out a decade beforehand. i don't buy there will ever be a sequel.

they need to make a sequel of the star wars parody with the kitchen appliances!!!

that and the star wars tv special where theyr'e living in a tree house!!
